in the ICC World Cup 2014 the team in Black Caps is now a days in a great form
again. Since 2007, New Zealand Team is the part of the tournament. New Zealand
team’s performance in the succeeding world cup was around 50% its winning
percentage in which they played 25 Matches, won 11 matches, lost 12 matches and
2 tied matches. The team stepped into the super 10 position where it was placed
on 6th place in ICC T20 Tournament in year 2014. Now this time the team is
heading to face the Upcoming T20 World Cup which will be hosted by India in
next month.

NZ Squad Announced: The team is all set to hit the ICC T20 World Cup with
the 15 man Squad which was announced by them on last Monday. This time it is
armed with three spinners, Leg Spinner Ish Sodhi, Off spinner Nathan McCullum
and Left Arm orthodox all rounder Mitchell Santner. The team is well aware of
the Indian Conditions and keeping this in mind they have planned their strategy
to take the all three front line spinners which has the ability to bring in
something different. This time the team will be happy enough as they will have
the all rounder Nathan Mccullum in their squad whose experience is invaluable
in the foreign conditions. Also Mitch Santner is the capable bowler who has the
ability to bowl the first six overs with a good average. Since the team is suffering
with some of the injured players Tim Southee, Mitchell McClenaghan and Ross
Taylorbut the trio has been picked up for the tournament hoping to be fit by
the start of the season. The team will be facing its first match against India
in Nagpur on March 15 being placed in Second round pool alongside Australia,
Pakistan, India and the winner of the qualifying pool played among Bangladesh,
Ireland, Netherland and Oman.

New Zealand Captain Name for T20 World Cup 2016
This world Cup every cricketing fans will miss the hard hitting shots of
the famous New Zealand player Brandon McCullum. As the player has already
stated that he will not be the part of the World T20 Tournament so has been
replaced by Kane Williamson who will lead the Kiwis in India. Kane Williamson
is the right handed batsman who has played in top order across all formats
thereby becoming the pillar of the New Zealand team. He is also an outstanding
fielder and a part time off spinner, being banned for his illegal bowling
action in June 2014.Though the selectors has put faith in him for his
calculated previous records and uplifted him as the captain of the team for the
upcoming T20 World Cup.

The Team has recently reintroduced the beige Jersey for the T20
Internationals in Home Season. New Zealand earlier in 1980s used to play with
the traditional Beige Jersey but later on changed the colour to black being
loyal to it ever since. But recently the Beige Jersey is becoming popular due
to Widening Cult the reason behind the Beige Brigade, a Fan organization
responsible for driving its popularity. So it is expected that the team will be
seen in Beige Jersey in T20 World Cup.
Although the logo will remain the same representing the feather and the
Name of the country in Black.
